The New Tecumseth, Caledon, King, Citizens for Clean Water (NTCK–-CCW), an incorporated and not-for-profit organization questioning the quality of fill at the Tottenham Airfield (formerly known as the Volk Airport) and the effects possible contaminated fill could have on the neighbouring water supplies and the Oak Ridges Moraine, will host its first Annual General Meeting July 15 at the Tecumseth Pines Recreation Centre (Highway 9 at Tottenham Road) from 7 to 9 p.m. The group’s slogan is “We won’t accept Toronto’s garbage, so why would we accept their soil?” Representatives from NTCK–-CCW were at the Tottenham Community Week street festival last Saturday.
