There were a lot of enthused participants out Saturday for the fifth annual Caledon Pit Run, hosted jointly by Lafarge and Aecon. The event was held as a fundraiser for Caledon Central Public School. These youngsters were starting off on the one-kilometre event.

This Icor X3 robot was being guided through the crowds by Peel Regional Police Constable Matt Philips. He said the device is used for explosive disposal.
