Title: Lots of fun at annual Pit Run

 There were a lot of enthused participants out Saturday for the fifth annual Caledon Pit Run, hosted jointly by Lafarge and Aecon. The event was held as a fundraiser for Caledon Central Public School. These youngsters were starting off on the one-kilometre event.Photos by Bill Rea

Sierra Tremble of Erin Fitness was leading the warm-up.

Rocky, the Lafarge mascot, was taking part in the warm-up.

Rebecca Rice of Earth Rangers had some interesting creatures to show people, including Lily, an alpomado falcon.

This Icor X3 robot was being guided through the crowds by Peel Regional Police Constable Matt Philips. He said the device is used for explosive disposal.
