Where The Wild Things Are to be performed at Mayfield

November 7, 2014   ·   0 Comments

The Mayfield Secondary School Dance Department will be putting together a show Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 8 at 1 and 7 p.m.
This year’s show will be Where The Wild Things Are.
Based off the 1963 children’s book by Maurise Sendak, Mayfield will be putting its own twist on a childhood classic. The show begins with three different characters named Maz, Billy and Kitty. They each have an active imagination, and are having trouble fitting in at school and even at home. One day, things go much too far and they end up running away; far, far away, across the world to a strange new world of the Wild Things. From there, the show goes through the fun, enjoyable and exciting adventure of the three children.
Tickets will be sold weekdays up until the day of the show, in the front foyer of Mayfield Secondary School. Tickets will also be sold at the door an hour prior to each show.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and $5 for children.
