Teens charged in robbery investigation

Two young men from Caledon, aged 14 and 17, have been charged after a Caledon OPP investigation into a March 5 theft in a Bolton parking lot.
Police said the victim had made arrangements to purchase a cell phone from a private vendor. The young person was directed to meet the seller in the parking lot on Queensgate Boulevard. As the victim approached the seller’s vehicle, he handed over cash at which time the driver drove off with the money. The victim was uninjured.
The two boys were charged with robbery, and the older youth was also charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
