Mr. Handyman in the lead in ball hockey post-season

After three evenings of round-robin action, Mr. Handyman is in the lead of the Inglewood Ball Hockey League.
The Handyman guys posted their third win of the series July 26; a 5-3 decision at the expense of 360º Tire Service. George’s Arena Sports got back to their winning ways to take second place, with the Tire crew in third.

In a tight match, Mr. Handyman took their third win.
Bulging the bin for Mr. Handyman were JT Gore, Anton Ethier Robert Keszeg with singles, while Will Pitsadiontis added a pair. Helpers were from the sticks of Chris Capobianco, Ethier, Jonathan Gargaro, Pitsadiontis and Nathan Irvine. The Tire Service’s lone marksman was Marco Franza with the hat trick. Assists were from Kelvin Young and Kyle Jones.

We Are Creative 0
Donato Dorizio stood tall and turned away all for George’s to get the win over We Are Creative.
Goal getters for George’s were Jordan Bokla, Jody Spagnol with a pair, Jake Stronach, Zac Lyons and Matt Campanella. Assists were by Tony DiFazio, Sal Iozzo, Spagnol, Stronach, Lyons and Liam Winslow.
Carney Plumbing 1
Caledon Hills Cycling 0
Not to be outdone Eddy Gaffney earned the second goose-egg of the night for Carney Plumbing over Caledon Hills Cycling.
Chris Unwin from Jesse Rooyakkers and Tyler Cameron was the only scoring play of the night for Carney, and it proved to be just enough.

In a real nail biter, neither team could best the other this night, with all three periods ending in ties for Carney and George’s.
George’s goal getters were Winslow with a pair and Zac Lyons with a single, while Winslow and Tony Sousa added helpers. Carney cage crashers were Rooyakkers, Unwin and Shawn Lane, with assists from the sticks of Rooyakkers, Unwin and Brian Dunn.
360º Tire Service 3
We Are Creative 1
In another close one, the 360º Tire guys were able to hold on and take the win over the Creative crew.
Net nabbers for 360 were Kelvin Young from Mike Vutcher, Franza from Tyson Bannon, and Nick Adams from Vutcher. We Are Creative’s creator was Mark Hammett, unassisted.

Caledon Hills Cycling 1
Mr. Handyman continued on their winning ways with another big win, this time over Caledon Hills.
Handyman heroes were Daniel Leone (two goals and two assists), Alex Tenaglia (one assist), Pitsadiontis (a goal), Capobianco (two goals and three assists), Keszeg (two goals), Kristian McMillan (two assists), and goalie John Malanca (an assist). Caledon Hills go-to guy was Dave Phillips from Travis Cassar and Rick Gowdy.
