A 31-year-old Caledon man is facing a couple of charges after a Caledon OPP officer stopped a speeding vehicle Feb. 12.
Police report the officer was conducting radar enforcement on Mayfield Road at about 1:30 a.m. when he spotted a silver Mazda Protege going 115 km-h in a posted 60 zone.
The man was charged with racing a motor vehicle, as well as driving with no clear view to the rear and driving without proper headlights.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days and the man’s licence was suspended for seven days.
