Looking to flex your creative muscles this March break?
Visit the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) for guided tours, special guests and instructor-led activities. PAMA has the family covered. Enjoy it all for the price of admission with a great family rate of $12 for two adults and up to five kids.
Today (Thursday) will feature a Concert in the Courtroom with Alex Sinclair from 11 a.m. until noon and 1 to 2 p.m.
Sinclair is a musician and storyteller. Join him in a fun, family-friendly folk music performance. Families can sing and play along too! As space is limited for each performance, timed tickets will be available 30 minutes prior at the Art Gallery reception desk and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Tomorrow (Friday), To Be Determined Theatre Presents Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! The first performance will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and the second show will run from 1 to 2 p.m.
This comedy of errors follows Alexander from sunrise to sunset on this . . . well yes, you guessed it, “very bad day.” Again, space will be limited, so timed tickets will be available 30 minutes prior at the Art Gallery reception desk and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
This Sunday (March 20), young people can learn about Superhero Myth and Origin stories from 2 to 4 p.m.
Learn about Batman, Superman, Captain America (and others) and have the opportunity to create your very own sculpted superhero!
PAMA is a place to explore and learn about Peel Region’s culture and heritage, as well as use conversation, questions and stories to help make new and fascinating connections to the surrounding community.
Operated by the Region of Peel, PAMA is at 9 Wellington St. E. in Brampton. Visit pama.peelregion.ca to learn more.
