As spring draws closer, the Inglewood Ball Hockey League (IBHL) is getting ready for the 2015 season.
This season, IBHL is expanding its horizons and going to a co-ed league. And with this change, league founder Brian Dunn stated that “we welcome the opportunity to get more individuals involved in this great sport and the challenges that the expansion brings with it as we strive to be the best at what we do and continue to bring this fun sport to the community of Caledon.”
There are still spots for individuals and teams for this season. Teams consist of 15 players and one goalie maximum. Games are played Tuesdays and Thursdays from late April until early August.
Remember this is an adult league, both men and women (all players must be at least 18, turing 18 this calendar year). It is competitive, but all skill levels are welcome and everyone is there for a good time.
Those who are interested in getting involved in the community and getting some exercise in the summer, IBHL is the place to be. Those who are just interested in supporting this community staple can take advantage of opportunities for businesses to be linked to the IBHL website, which had more than a half a million hits last year alone.
