Fines Ford Lincoln ended September undefeated in Caledon Senior Hockey League.
They capped the successful month last Monday with a 7-3 dismantling of Rutherford Global Logistics.
In the other games, Bolton Chiropractic Centre and Baffo’s Pizza tied 2-2 and George’s Arena Sports dumped Jiffy Lube Oilers 5-2.
Boyles, Rotundo roll
Nick Rotundo and Jeff Boyles led the way for Fines Ford with four points each.
Rotundo had a goal and three assists while Boyles had two goals and two assists. Jim Moyer, with two goals, and Bernie Tisdale, who had three assists, also had big nights. Dominic Spignasi chipped in a goal and an assist. Gary Hoxey had the other Fines goal while Peter Coghill had two assists. Single assists went to Bruno Fracassi, Mike Gallop and Howard Wight.
Paul Speck scored twice for Rutherford with Dan LaBine adding one goal. Jim Dunbar had two assists, with singles going to Bill Moyer, Don Dupuis and Frank Cirone.
BCC, Baffo’s deadlock
Nick Taccogna and Ian Kerr scored for Bolton Chiropractic with Randy Freitag assisting on both goals. Mike Gasparini had one assist.
Bob McHardy and Rick Agar notched the Baffo’s goals with John Castelucci getting two assists. Dave Brasier and James Heenan had one assist each.
George’s rallies
Jiffy Lube Oilers held a 2-1 lead after two periods and were in position to grab their first win of the season, but George’s caught fire in the third period with four goals to take the game.
Brett Smith led the way for the winners with a goal and two assists. George Armstrong and Ralph Ricardi each had a goal and an assist while Clark Judge and Greg Collins also scored. Bill Doherty and John Van Wagner notched two assists each with singles going to Bill Davis and Al McFadyen.
Maurizo Giorgio and Ron Sampson scored for Jiffy Lube with assists going to Danny Avram, Luch Pinarello and David Shoalts.
