Mayfield Secondary School
Jake Bridge
This Grade 10 student is playing outside centre on the junior boys’ rugby team, which was coming off a very successful outing against North Park Secondary School, winning 63-10. He was also a running back on the junior football team. Away from school, he plays striker in rep soccer in the Georgetown Mustangs organization. The 16-year-old lives in Terra Cotta. His parents are Derek Bridge and Jennifer Lusby.
Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School
Vivian Foullong
The 17-year-old played middle on this year’s varsity volleyball team, and she also played basketball at school last year. In the community, she plays centre in rep basketball in the Orangeville Hawks organization. She’s also involved in weight training. The Grade 11 student lives in Orangeville with her parents Mark and Carol Foullong.
St. Michael Catholic Secondary School
Noah Marrano
This Grade 12 student plays centre for the senior outdoor soccer team, which won its first game 7-5. He was also a defensive back on the senior football team in the fall, and ran an interception back for a touchdown. He also plays wing on the basketball team. The 18-year-old lives in Bolton with his mother Stacey Marrano.
Humberview Secondary School
Jaclyn Vanderdoelen
The 15-year-old is showing her prowess as a singles badminton player. In the team’s first meet, she won all four of her games. She also played various positions on the school’s varsity field hockey team in the fall. In the community, she plays rep A hockey as a centre in the Orangeville Tigers’ organization. The Grade 9 student lives in Bolton with her parents Jim and Marie Vanderdoelen.
