Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) invites landowners to participate in its upcoming spring Landowner Tree Planting and Habitat Restoration Services workshop.
The event takes place April 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at CVC’s Forestry Operations Centre at 15526 Heart Lake Rd. in Caledon.
Hear from CVC staff about seedling reforestation planting projects, potted planting projects and invasive species management. Learn how to complete wildlife and habitat restoration projects on the property through showcased projects, CVC services and funding.
“This workshop is a great way for landowners to learn about different options for managing their properties,” said CVC’s Deputy CAO and Director of Watershed Transformation Mike Puddister. “We provide landowners with tools and information to enhance the natural features on their land.”
The event is free thanks to funding from CVC’s regional and municipal partners.
Register at www.creditvalleyca.ca/events by March 29. Space is limited. For more information call 1-800-668-5557, ext. 436.
