Caledon OPP’s media officer has moved on to a new assignment.
Constable Brenda Evans will be working out of the OPP Central Region in Critical Incident Stress Response – Peer Support. She said she will be helping officers, providing resources and supports, assisting other officers who are going through difficult times.
Evans, who has been at the Caledon detachment since 2011, said the opening became available.
“As I’m ending my career, I thought it was time to start giving something back to officers,” she said.
“It’s with a heavy heart I’m leaving Caledon.” she commented, adding she still lives nearby.
