The spring Caledon Home and Lifestyle Show, April 24 to 26, will literally scream its mantra of Renovate – Decorate – Landscape from the moment visitors hit the parking lot of the Albion-Bolton Community Centre.
In its 19th year, the Caledon Home and Lifestyle Show, sponsored by James Dick Construction and in partnership with the Town of Caledon, will inspire visitors with its impressive new features and displays, one-on-one advice from renowned experts, plus an equally impressive line-up of locally sourced entertainment and community celebration, from the show opening Friday at 4 p.m. to closing Sunday at 4 p.m.
Local talent and support for the show this year is exponential, starting with a totally redesigned front entrance engineered by Scott Waldner’s SW Stoneworks and Sunshine Landscaping, with interior decor provided by The Flower Workshop, ranked as one of the top 10 floral designers in Canada.
Ask the Experts will resound with star talent and TV celebrity power. Jeff Sarty, landscape architect on HGTV’s Decked Out and Disaster Decks, will help show visitors bring outdoor living to their backyards with tips and tricks of the trade. Joining him at the Humber Nurseries Landscape and Garden Centre will be landscape designer Carol Rettinger and Three Brothers Landscape contractor Joseph Medeiros. Multi-award winning Michael Upshall of Probuilt will bring expert advice to visitors embarking upon renovation projects this season.
“Over the years, the Caledon Home and Lifestyle Show has shown that some of the best of the industry can be found right here in Caledon,” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “As the 19th annual show takes shape, I’m particularly pleased that the Town has taken an enhanced role in partnering with the Caledon Chamber of Commerce to showcase and support our businesses.”
The opening night Toronto 2015 Pan Am – Parapan Am Games Preview, presented by the Town of Caledon, will feature past and present athletes, swag bags filled with Games treasures and a draw for priceless Pan Am Games Tickets.
Sunday’s Ascot Room Fashion Show at 2 p.m. will feature Angela Mara designs from Italy modelled by Caledon’s Regional and area councillors who will be strutting the catwalk with some equally impressive canines provided by Dogs by Bryson, with the latest fashion trends from Rovili’s Pet World.
A wealth of local talent, expert advice and inspiring ideas await visitors to the 2015 Caledon Home and Lifestyle Show, with attendees encouraged to bring their pending projects to the show with photos, plans and (or) drawings. The experts can help you get it right . . . the first time!
The Caledon Home and Lifestyle Show is produced by the Caledon Chamber of Commerce, a not-for-profit membership organization representing local business since 1986.
