Burton Cummings and André-Philippe Gagnon to perform in support of Osler

November 1, 2017   ·   0 Comments

Music legend Burton Cummings and Band, and world-renowned master impersonator André-Philippe Gagnon, will perform at the Rose Theatre in Brampton Nov. 25, as part of a benefit concert for William Osler Health System.
The sixth annual gala benefit concert is sponsored by DG Group (lead sponsor), Orlando Corporation, Alectra Utilities Inc., Borden Ladner Gervais, Lois Rice, Magna International Inc., M-O Freight Works, Northwest Lexus — part of the Policaro automotive family, and S. Robinson and Associates of RBC Dominion Securities.
This year, former premier William G. Davis, will be celebrated for his contributions to the community and to the people of Ontario. Davis was also the honorary co-chair of Osler’s Peel Memorial campaign, helping to raise funds to build and equip the Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness.
“The benefit concert is not just a fundraising event, but a community building event,” said Osler Foundation President and CEO Ken Mayhew. “Through this event, we are able to bring together some of our key partners — whether they are community leaders, community members, donors, businesses, staff and volunteers. They come to the event all in support of one goal — raising funds for William Osler Health System and to provide excellent health care in our community.”
Funds raised from the concert will contribute to equipping and redeveloping projects across Osler’s three sites — Etobicoke General Hospital, Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness and Brampton Civic Hospital. Proceeds from this event qualify for the $15 million Orlando Corporation match, which means that each dollar that is raised, will be matched dollar for dollar.
Guests will enjoy a reception prior to the show with a selection of gourmet hors d’oevres and wine at the black-tie optional event. Tickets range from $200 to $500.
