The Diwali Drone Show is officially back and will be hosted by the Town of Caledon on Nov. 7 to celebrate the Festival of Lights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Peel Agrihub (12942 Heartlake Road, Caledon).

This is the third year that the event has been held. With over 4,000 attendees last year, organizers are hopeful to see the same turnout this year.

The event is open to all in the community, and it is free for all to attend.

This award-winning drone show will feature a large display with over 200 drones illuminating the Caledon sky with a variety of symbols to celebrate Diwali.

Throughout the night, there will be live musical performances and a variety of vendors with food for those in attendance to purchase.

While the event begins at 6 p.m., the drone show will not start until around 7:45 p.m. and will last for roughly 15 minutes.

As provided by the Town of Caledon, the following schedule of performers is as listed.

• 6:05 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Rihaana & Ridhaan Grover | Divine Bhajans

• 6:40 p.m. – 7:05 p.m.  – 3S Harmony Dance Group

• 7:15 p.m. – 7:40 p.m. – The Humber River Voyagers

• 7:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Drone Show

• 8:20 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. – Mudra in Motion

In the event that inclement weather arises, there will be a backup date, as the event is heavily weather-dependent, and that will be on Nov. 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Peel Agrihub.

For those in need of transportation to and from the event, there will be free shuttle buses provided at the following locations from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
