Credit Valley Conservation (CVC), together with Halton Green Screens (HGS) and Halton Environmental Network, is hosting a movie night under the stars this coming Saturday (Aug. 30) at dusk.
It will be at the new amphitheatre at Terra Cotta Conservation Area at 14452 Winston Churchill Blvd.
The night’s feature presentation is the sequel to the box office hit Rio. In Rio 2, Blu and Jewel return to the Amazon with their kids. The movie promises more music, more laughs and more fun.
Arrive early to enjoy the conservation area before the film. Guided hikes will be available from 7 to 8 p.m.
Admission is free with an Our Credit membership or $10 (cash only) per vehicle. Snacks will be available for purchase.
This is an outdoor event. Visit www.creditvalleyca.ca or call 1-800-668-5557 that day to ensure it is not postponed due to the weather. A rain date is scheduled for Aug. 31 at dusk.
All proceeds will go to the Friends of Terra Cotta, a sub-committee of Credit Valley Conservation Foundation, in support of conservation and environmental education projects at Terra Cotta Conservation Area.
