Secrets of friendship considered at next week’s Lifetree Café in Caledon

March 26, 2014   ·   0 Comments

The secrets of lasting friendships will be explored at the next session of Lifetree Café.
The program, entitled Friends for Life: 10 buddies — 38 years — One week a year, will feature the filmed story of a group of guys who have remained friends 20 years after graduation from middle school.
The session will take place this coming Wednesday (April 2) from 7 to 8 p.m.
“Our lives have gone lots of directions,” commented Rodney Stewart, one of the original group of middle-school buddies. “Marriages, divorces, addictions, the death of family members, successes and failures — we’ve walked through them together. We have what many people wish they had: long-standing friendships.”
Participants in the program will have the opportunity to discuss the factors involved in making and keeping friends, as well as the benefits of long-time friendships.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages will be available. Lifetree Café is at St. James’ Anglican Church, 6025 Old Church Rd.
Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting.
