Arrests made in suspicious death investigation

A 44-year-old Brampton man has been charged with manslaughter and committing an indignity to a dead body.
This is in connection with the death of Douglas Brady Bell, 28, of Orangeville.
Mr. Ball was found Feb. 22 unconscious in the area of Old School Road and Kennedy Road in Caledon, and he was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Caledon OPP reports the Major Crime Unit, assisted by the detachment Street Crime Unit, uniformed detachment members, the Central Region Emergency Response Team, members of the Central Region Support Team and Peel Regional Police, executed a search warrant at an Avondale Boulevard residence in Brampton.
Douglas Tavenor was arrested as a result of the on-going investigation, under the direction of Detective Inspector Paul McCrickard of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
Three other Brampton residents, Ralph Terry Maywood, 51, Patrick Egal, 26, and Farnaz Yaghinali, 44, were charged with committing an indignity to a dead body and being an accessory after the fact.
