September 15, 2017   ·   0 Comments

There was lots to attract people out to Mono Mills Fire Hall Saturday morning, as the local firefighters, along with Caledon OPP and Peel Paramedic Services hosted their annual open house. There were a number of interesting things to try, including some hands-on experiences. Sarah Sansom of Orangeville was giving her son Owen, 5, a hand as he mastered the hose on this display as Megan Rook watched.

The auto-extrication demonstration, put on by the firefighters, drew a lot of attention.

Walter Kelly, 2, of Mono was have lots of fun exploring this fire truck.

The day included a pancake breakfast. District Chief Brian Zimmerman was working with Sarah Melnyk and Firefighter Todd Hillhouse.
