Two shutouts, split shins and slippery floors in ball hockey action

There are now two teams trying to get by themselves at the top of the Inglewood Ball Hockey League standings.
After the fifth week of action, AMD & Son Electric and We Are Creative share similar 4-1 records.

George’s swept up with bagging lots of markers this week over ZeeClean.
Mitch Nail (a goal and an assist), Sean Elliott (two goals and an assist), Michael Brilantes (two goals), Mike Garvie (a goal and two assists), Matt Cordina (an assist), Cory Schittenhelm (three assists), Tommy Ursa (an assist) and Brandon Vandersterre (an assist) were the go to guys for George’s, while Evan Emanoilidis, from Nolan Pearce, swept in one for Zee.
We Are Creative 2
Elite Building Group 1
In a match filled with penalties (35 minutes combined), We Are got the jump on Elite and were able to hold on for the win.
Anthony Fera, from Michael Spagnuolo and Dom Klosowski, and John Monti (unassisted, on the power play) got it done for the Creative crew, while Kyle Corcoran from, Jordan “Cheese” Francis, put Elite on the board.

Caledon Hills Cycling 0
With the floor starting to slick up, Mr. Handyman stepped it up a notch and earned keeper Louie Marrocco a goose-egg.
Anthony Villari, from Mike Chip and Chris Della Morra, and Alex Della Morra, from Mike Volpe, hammered it home for Handymen.
AMD & Son Electric 3
Carney Plumbing 0
With the floor getting more greasy, the clock ran out on Carney as AMD charged on to victory.
Jon Desmarais, Andy Sant and Adam Biastrocci potted the ball in the cage, with Jake Lake and Matt McNally helping out.
The previous week of play saw suspensions being handed out in the midst of hot action.

Mr. Handyman 0
Elite’s Dante Commisso earned the goose-egg for his squad.
Net nabbers were Tyler O’Conner from Lino Zanardo and Shaun Ridler, Jordan Porter (short-handed) from Michael Stenton, and Steve DeFrancesco from Kyle Cocoran and Chris Gionas.

AMD electrified the crowd lighting the lamp five times to earn the victory.
The sticks of Biastrocci (two, one on the power play), Joey Lemos (two) and Desmarais (short-handed) were fully charged with help from Evan Sant, Paul Skates, Dan Wood, Biastrocci, Jason Duncan and Desmarais. George’s go to guys were Nail (power play) from Tony Sousa, and Schittenhelm from Sousa and Nail.
ZeeClean 4
Carney Plumbing 2
ZeeClean cleaned up with a pair in the second to sweep to victory.
Bin bulgers for ZeeClean were Pearce from Chris Gikov and Colin Bromley, Adam Moszynski from Brandon Jones and Jonathan Batten, Harry Gaebler (unassisted) and Bromley from Chris Reid. Carney’s plungers were Elliott Draga from Randy Avery, and Will Crowe (short-handed) from brother Don and keeper Eddy Gaffney.
We Are Creative 6

In a clean match until the end, We Are controlled the things for their share of the lead, and then things got a little too feisty and earned a suspension for a player from each squad.
We Are Creative’s creators were Matt Geiser from Alex Schittenhelm and Giancarlo Mellace, Schittenhelm from Fera, Schittenhelm from Fera and Mellace, Rob Silvestri from John West-Carvalho, West-Carvalho from Silvestri, and West Carvalho from Silvestri and Mike Tarasco. Caledon Hills peddlers were Dave Phillips (unassisted) and Bobby Raine from Kurt Snell and Albert Bettridge.
