Charged with driving while suspended

The discovery of a stolen licence plate led to a 29-year-old man from Etobicoke facing a couple of charges.
Caledon OPP reports an officer spotted a silver Chevrolet Cobalt on Parr Boulevard in Bolton April 12. The licence plate on the car had been reported stolen, so the officer stopped it to investigate. The investigation revealed the man in the car was prohibited from driving under the Criminal Code of Canada.
The driver was driving while disqualified, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and possession property obtained by crime under $5,000.
