Jewelry stolen in break-in

Caledon OPP is investigating a home break-in on McGuire Trail in the northeast section of town.
Police said the incident took place sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. June 27. Those responsible got in by forcing a door. The house was ransacked and jewelry was reported stolen.
Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
Police are also asking anyone with information about this break-in to contact them at 905-584-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
