Mayfield Secondary School James Cromack This Grade 11 student is a cross-country runner who made it to OFSAA recently, placing 98th out of about 350 in Duntroon, Ontario “It was really muddy,” he said. He got to OFSAA by finishing third at ROPSSAA. He also takes part in track and field at school, specializing in the 1,500 and 3,000 metre runs. In the community, he’s active in 310 Running. The 16-year-old lives in Alton with his parents Michelle and Mike Cromack.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Seleste Ayala This 14-year-old recently showed her cross-country running skills, placing 41st out of 279 at OFSAA. She got there with second and third-place performances at ROPSSAA. She’s currently involved in tryouts for junior volleyball and is hoping to play soccer for the school in the spring. Away from school, she plays rep soccer in the Milton Magic organization and is active in Citrius Dance in Orangeville. The Grade 9 student lives in East Garafraxa with her parents Alex and Dora Ayala.

This 14-year-old recently showed her cross-country running skills, placing 41st out of 279 at OFSAA. She got there with second and third-place performances at ROPSSAA. She’s currently involved in tryouts for junior volleyball and is hoping to play soccer for the school in the spring. Away from school, she plays rep soccer in the Milton Magic organization and is active in Citrius Dance in Orangeville. The Grade 9 student lives in East Garafraxa with her parents Alex and Dora Ayala.

St. Michael Catholic Secondary School Brody McLean This Grade 12 student is a varsity lacrosse player who has a scholarship to play next year at Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York. He plays attack on the school team, and their season is about to start. Away from school, he plays with Edge Lacrosse, with players from Ontario who take on teams in the United States. They recently went 6-0 at a tournament in Baltimore. The 17-year-old lives in Bolton with his parents Cathy and Terry McLean.

This Grade 12 student is a varsity lacrosse player who has a scholarship to play next year at Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York. He plays attack on the school team, and their season is about to start. Away from school, he plays with Edge Lacrosse, with players from Ontario who take on teams in the United States. They recently went 6-0 at a tournament in Baltimore. The 17-year-old lives in Bolton with his parents Cathy and Terry McLean.

Humberview Secondary School Olivia Cadieux This 13-year-old has been very busy with cross-country running, placing seventh at the Heart Lake Invitational in October, fourth at ROPSSAA and 73rd at OFSAA. She said she might go out for the school’s nordic skiing team, and track and field in the spring, specializing in the 800 and 1,500 metre runs. In the community, she’s a member of 310 Running and alpine skis at Blue Mountain. The Grade 9 student lives in Bolton with her Parents Vonia and Patrick Cadieux.
