Home and Lifestyle Show was a success

May 20, 2015   ·   0 Comments

On behalf of the 2015 Caledon Home and Lifestyle Show and the Caledon Chamber of Commerce, let me thank the community, all the vendors, the Town of Caledon and our corporate sponsors James Dick Construction and ScotiaBank for another successful year.
Since 1986, our local Chamber has organized the Home Show as an initiative to present the quality businesses in our neighbourhood and as a fundraising activity — both of which meet the overall goals and objectives of our organization.
This year, the success of our event was a result of a collaborative effort between our event manager, our staff and our volunteers. The buzz over the weekend was around re-energized programs, such as the pet and people fashion show, ask the expert, the Bolton Wanderers, Boy Scout and Palgrave Youth Baseball Club barbecues and the ever popular penny raffle. With the help of great businesses like Music 21 and Flower Workshop, the arena was transformed into an amazing visual experience. We also acknowledge the effort of the volunteers who organized the Kinsmen Toonie Sale and the Friends of the Library book sale. We have set the bar higher and we intend to continue this trend.
Warren Darnley,
Chair of the Board, Caledon Chamber of Commerce
