Since then, I have not purchased gas in Caledon, at all. I wait until I visit my son or daughter in Orangeville, or when I am in Brampton. The reason of course is, that gas is usually at least five cents a litre cheaper in Caledon's surrounding communities. Today I am waiting to gas up when I drive to a friend's cottage in Orillia. I'm sure other drivers living in Caledon do the same thing, therefore the question has to be, why are gas prices in Caledon higher than in both Brampton and Orangeville? Could it be that maybe Caledon residents are being gouged? I wonder. As well, my husband and I drive to Manitoba each summer and gas prices there are consistently cheaper than in Ontario. Go figure. We always gas up just before entering Ontario, and gas up upon arrival in Manitoba. The question is, why are Ontario residents paying more for gas than in Manitoba? I wonder.
