Weather couldn’t dampen Caledon Pit Run![]() ![]() The weather looked a little threatening, but it couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of those on hand for the fourth annual Caledon Pit Run last Saturday, hosted jointly by Lafarge and Aecon. The event was held in support of Bethell Hospice Foundation, and organizers report they raised $26,500, better than the $25,000 target. These young folks were on their way in the one-kilometre event. ![]() Bethell Hospice representatives were on hand with information about the services they provide. Volunteers Joan McKay and Monica Long were manning this table ![]() There were a number of interesting displays. Krystal White of Earth Rangers was on had with a collection of intriguing animals, including Leonard, a one-year-old American krestral. |
