Jiffy Lube won its second consecutive blowout game with a 10-4 humiliation of Rutherford Global Logistics last Monday. The Oilers have now greased their last two opponents with a total of 19 goals. In other CSHL action at Don Sheardown Memorial Arena, Heart Lake Insurance maintained its hot hand by dumping the league-leading Bolton Chiropractic Centre 6-3. However, with just two games remaining in the regular season, the Chiropractors have clinched first place. And Fines Ford Lincoln outlasted Yale Industrial Trucks 6-5. Jiffy Lube 10, Rutherford 4 Rick Agar was the main man for Jiffy Lube with three goals and two assists. Right behind him were Jim Rogers with three goals and Jeff Boyles with one goal and three assists. Peter Coghill chipped in two goals and an assist, while Mike McNamara dished one of each. Steve Sanderson, team sponsor Brian Fetterly, Dom Spignasi and Randy Freitag all had two assists. Larry Pevato had one assist. John Pistadiotis was the best of a bad Rutherford lot with a goal and an assist. The other goals were scored by Tony Calabro, Howard Wight and Steve Tarasco. Jim Pitre, Maurizo Giorgio and Gary Hughes all had single assists. Fines Ford 6, Yale 5 Bernie Tisdale and Mike Foley led the charge for Fines Ford with two goals and two assists each. John Pallotta and Greg Collins had one goal and one assist apiece. Peter Kuchar and Gary Faultless both bagged two assists. A single assists went to Romas Krilavicius. Dom D'Orazio was the Yale sparkplug with two goals and an assist. Robert Masutti and (Gentleman) Jim Schaefer potted a goal and an assist each. Bruno Fracassi scored the other goal. Bill Davis and Dan Tasson both had two helpers with a single going to James Heenan. Heart Lake 6, Bolton Chiropractic 3 Team rep Ian Kerr was the top point-getter with a goal and two assists for Heart Lake. Victor Marrelli scored twice and the other goals came from Jack Gibson, who also had an assist, Greg Frangakas and team sponsor Chris Spilar. Luch Pinarello and Santo Gazzolla led the assists parade with two each while Tony Dinis and Rod Sinclair each had one. Team sponsor Mike Shore sparked the Chiropractors with two goals. Danny Avram scored the other one. Bill Moyer and Gary Moss had two assists each.
