Upset at start of men’s hockey playoffs

Fines Ford Lincoln made sure the Caledon Senior Hockey League playoff tournament will be a multi-horse race.
They did that last Monday (March 10) when they knocked off the regular-season champions opening night.
Powered by three goals from Nick Rotundo, Fines Ford edged Rutherford Global Logistics 5-4. Rutherford finished first in the regular season, but they are now 0-1 in the round-robin post-season party.
In the other games, Baffo's Pizza downed Jiffy Lube Oilers 6-2 and George's Arena Sports dumped Bolton Chiropractic Centre 4-1.
Fines Ford 5, Rutherford 4
Aside from Rotundo, Fines' other heroes were Bruno Fracassi, who scored the winning goal with 12:35 left in the third period, and goaltender Roy Selinger, who held off the powerhouse Rutherford shooters the rest of the way.
Mike Gallop also scored for Fines, while Bernie Tisdale, Garry Hoxey and Paul Burrell each had two assists. Peter Coghill had a single assist.
Dan Labine was the top point-man for Rutherford with a goal and an assist. Garth Young, Jim Horan and Paul Speck had the other goals. Single assists went to Jim Dunbar, Bill Moyer and Dave Armstrong.
Baffo's 6, Jiffy Lube 2
Rick Agar and James Heenan led the way for the Pizzamen with four points each.
Agar struck for two goals and two assists while Heenan had a goal and three assists. Mark Perrin clicked for two goals while Bob McHardy produced a goal and an assist. Dave Boyd and Tony Dinis each had an assist.
Joe Palumbo scored both goals for Jiffy Lube with assists from Chris Spilar and Ron Sampson.
George's 4, BCC 1
Brett Smith and George Armstrong each had a goal and an assist to power George's while Mark Milton set up two goals.
Clark Judge and Jack Gibson scored the other goals for George's, with single assists going to Bill Doherty, Bill Davis and Murray Hurst.
Don Hutchinson scored for Bolton Chiropractic with assists from Ian Kerr and Randy Freitag.
