The annual surveillance program was due to wrap up last week. As of Sept. 24, there have been 63 mosquito pools in Peel that had tested positive for WNV, and none of them were in Caledon. There were 40 in Brampton and 23 in Mississauga. There were no new positive pools that week. To date, there were 208 WNV-positive mosquito batches found in Ontario.
