Home show season is fast approaching, and Dufferin-Caledon MP David Tilson took time last week to recognize that in the House of commons.
Tilson rose in the House to celebrate the upcoming shows sponsored by the Caledon Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club of Orangeville.
“Mr. Speaker, Members may have noticed that there’s a hint of spring in the air this week,” Tilson told the House. “In Dufferin-Caledon, that’s a sign that our local home shows are right around the corner.”
He added both the local shows offer area business people the chance to showcase products and services to residents who might be thinking of sprucing up their homes in the spring.
In Orangeville, the Lions Home and Garden show runs at the Orangeville Fairgrounds April 6, 7 and 8. The Caledon Chamber of Commerce’s Spring Home Show 2018 runs at the Albion-Bolton Community Centre April 20, 21 and 22.
“The show is a ‘shop local’ experience, where constituents can find great deals on items related to their home and garden living,” Tilson told his fellow MPs.
