Tickets on sale for Caledon Community Services’ annual holiday gala

Non-profit seeking event sponsorship from local businesses

A date is set for Caledon Community Services' annual holiday gala.

On December 1, Caledon Community Services (CCS) will host its Home for the Holidays Gala at the Royal Ambassador Event Centre in Caledon East. The theme for this year's gala is “Hope Under the Stars.”

Donna Cragg, Director of Communications for CCS, said this year's event promises to be a dazzling evening.

Tribal Partners, a real estate developer which has completed projects in Caledon and has more in progress, will be the event's platinum sponsor again in 2023.

“Their unwavering support ensures that the Home for the Holidays Gala continues to make a significant impact on our community,” said Craig in a statement.

At the gala, there will be starlit decorations, a full menu, live entertainment, and live and silent auctions. 

“The evening will also be punctuated by heartwarming real-life stories from our neighbors, highlighting the profound impact of this annual gala in support of the most vulnerable in our community,” wrote Cragg.

The Home for the Holidays Gala, which is led by volunteers, has been running since 1998 and has raised over $2.5 million for CCS.

Geraldine Aguiar, CCS' CEO, said proceeds from the event provide nourishing meals, warm homes, health and independence to hundreds of Caledon families, youth, and seniors.
