Tickets for Caledon Community Services’ annual holiday gala selling fast

By ZACHARY ROMAN

Caledon Community Services' annual holiday gala is fast approaching.

Held at the Royal Ambassador Event Centre in Caledon East, the Home for the Holidays Gala is one of Caledon Community Services' (CCS) largest fundraising events. This year, it's being held on December 1 with a theme of “Hope Under the Stars.”

Mariia Kupriianova, CCS' Chief Development Officer, said with less than 50 days to the gala she's getting really excited.

She said the gala is a night of kindness and giving and that it has become known for bringing the community together for a good cause.

“We are delighted to have everybody back,” said Kupriianova. “We encourage everybody to secure their tickets now before they sell out.”

Those interested in buying a ticket for the event can do so online at ccshome4thheholidays.com.

Kupriianova said there are amazing live performances scheduled and that the decor will be stunning.

“With our theme of ‘Hope Under the Stars', the night will take your breath away,” she said. “This will be a night to remember.”

The gala will have a full menu, live and silent auctions, starlit decorations, and dancing.

“Get your dancing shoes ready,” said Kupriianova.

In a previous Caledon Citizen article, Geraldine Aguiar, CCS' CEO, explained proceeds from the gala will provide nourishing meals, warm homes, and health and independence to hundreds of Caledon families, youth, and seniors.

The Home for the Holidays Gala has raised over $2.5 million for CCS since its inception in 1998. It's led entirely by volunteers.
