Thank you, Caledon!

After three amazing years with the Caledon Citizen, I'm moving on to a new chapter in my life. 

Caledon is the town I grew up in and has a truly special place in my heart. It's been an honour to cover the many important events shaping our town and I have always strove to do so fairly, accurately, and to the best of my ability. Reader, thank you for supporting local journalism at a time when it's more important than ever and staying informed on what's happening in our community.

I'd be remiss if I didn't give a special shoutout to my most loyal reader, my nanna. Thank you for your unwavering love and support!

During my time with this newspaper, I've had the pleasure of meeting so many awesome and inspiring people from every corner of our town. I want to share a sincere thanks to everyone I have interviewed, worked with, and received compliments and criticism from. 

If you've read this paper throughout my time here, you'll know my writing style is not particularly verbose. In keeping with tradition, I'll get to the point.

Thank you for everything, Caledon. To all the wonderful people I've met, I look forward to seeing you around town. Next time you see me, I'll just be a Caledon citizen.
