SUV stolen in AltonCaledon OPP are looking for whoever is responsible for the theft of a 2003 silver Mazda Tribute from a driveway on John Street in Alton. Police report they were called to investigate the incident shortly after midnight March 1, and it's been determined the theft happened sometime after 10:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Police are reminding residents to contact OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact them at 905-584-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). |
