Sugarbush fun in Terra Cotta

Terra Cotta Conservation Area was a good place to visit over March break during the Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival. The activities during the week include sugarbush demonstrations, maple syrup samples, wagon rides and other fun stuff. The activities started last Monday as Mayor Allan Thompson was trying to tap into a maple tree, assisted by Erin Town Councillor John Brennan, Credit Valley Conservation Deputy CAO Mike Puddister, Oakville Town Councillor Tom Adams and his daughters Rachel, 8, and Michelle, 11.
