Straight and narrow followed at annual plowing match




Natalie Vink of Wrightway Farms on Innis Lake Road, is Peel-Dufferin's new Queen of the Furrow. She was crowned last Thursday at the Peel-Dufferin Plowmen's Association's 90th annual Plowing Match, held at the Metcalfe Family Farm on Kennedy Road. She was demonstrating her plowing skill, under the eye of Association President Harry Brander.

There were a couple of cases of horses pulling the plows. This team of Belgians named Amy and Alvin were being driven by Kathleen MacRobbie of Mount Forest.
