Monica Tran
This Grade 11 student is making her mark with the varsity fast pitch team. When she's not playing second base, she pitches, and she threw a no-hitter May 13 to extend the team's undefeated record. Away from school, she plays fast pitch in the Oak Ridges Diamonds organization. The 16-year-old lives in Strawberry Fields with her parents Chris and Vanessa Avelino.

This 17-year-old is a pitcher and short stop for the school's varsity baseball team. He threw a no-hitter in the squad's opening game. Away from school, he plays baseball in the Ontario Blue Jays organization in Mississauga. The Grade 12 student lives in Orangeville with his parents Chris and Erin Barlas.

St. Michael Catholic Secondary School

This Grade 12 student has been contributing his skills as a striker for the senior boys' soccer team. The squad has won their first six games, and he scored three goals in them. Away from school, he's a centre in AAA rep hockey in the South Central Coyotes' organization in Richmond Hill. The 17-year-old lives in Bolton with his parents Aldo and Loredana De Fazio.

The 16-year-old is showing her skills on the badminton court as a junior singles player. She has won all her matches so far and is hoping to advance to ROPSSAA. In the community, she takes part in Heniss Alda Ligita School of Classical Ballet in Brampton. The Grade 10 student lives in Brampton with her parents Anand and Shakti Persaud.
