Soup and snow in PalgraveThe ravages of winter were staved off recently at Palgrave United Church. The celebrations included sampling of different soups, prepared by Jon Love, Satya Robinson, Fiona Ferguson, Ann Roxburgh and Laurie Oakley.Photos by Bill Rea

There were opportunities to make some creative decorations in the snow outside the church. Alicia Wedgbury of Bolton watched as her daughters Kate, 2, and Anna, 6, worked with the colours.
