Schomberg Street Gallery returnsSchomberg, a village with country charm, will transform into a vibrant art scene. The renowned Schomberg Street Gallery returns for its eighth year Sept. 11. This pedestrian-friendly show is a must-see event. The outdoor gallery winds its way down Main Street, featuring works from 40 local and regional artists. There will be some new talent and some familiar faces too. This is a perfect opportunity to meet the artists. Find the perfect piece, for yourself or as a gift for someone special. Traditional or contemporary, whatever your preference, there is bound to be something that catches your eye. Whether it's an original painting to complement your home décor, a unique sculpture, a fine grained wooden bowl, a piece of statement jewellery or a pottery item that will be lovingly used every day, there is something for everyone. If you need refreshments, the Schomberg Lions will be serving their traditional fare at the Community Hall, or you can check out the local eating establishments.
