Run for Terry Fox

Please join us Sept. 14 for the 34th annual Terry Fox Run, raising funds for cancer research, sponsored for the 15th year by the Rotary Club of Palgrave.
The Palgrave Terry Fox Run will be held at Stationlands Park, which is on Brawton Drive at Highway 50, starting at 9 a.m. There will be a free breakfast, starting at 8 a.m., served by Palgrave Rotarians. Participants have the opportunity to run, walk or bike for up to 10-km along the Caledon Trailway. The Palgrave firefighters and the OPP will be there to assist as well.
Donations and pledges can be made on-line at www.terryfox.org/Run (run site # 2164). Pledge sheets are also available at various stores and locations in the Palgrave, Caledon East and surrounding areas. Bring your pledge sheets (including on-line ones) to the event. Registration will start at 8 a.m.
If you require further information, please feel free to contact Tom Fuller at 905-880-3774 or by email to tom.fuller55@gmail.com
Palgrave participants raised $10,181 last year, an important part of the $12.6 million dollars raised across Ontario. Since 2000, our community has raised $112,363 for the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.
Well done to all of the runners, hikers and bikers at our site here in Palgrave. We look forward to seeing you again this year.
Tom Fuller,
Terry Fox Run Coordinator,
Rotary Club of Palgrave
