Title: Rotary Club of Palgrave’s Weekly Rotary Minute

It was a chilly December evening.
We were all standing in a circle holding candles at Peace Ranch. In front of us was a greenhouse that was brilliantly lit with the colours of Christmas; a greenhouse which supports the market garden at Peace Ranch.
The market garden employs clients and residents from Peace Ranch.
The greenhouse was envisioned, planned and built by Rotarians from our club.
Behind the circle is another building which is used for meetings and other activities. The electrical work and other renovations were also completed by Rotarians from our club.
A client from Peace Ranch tells us how his life has changed for the better.
It was a very quiet and moving moment as all of us in the circle as we held our candles. We continued to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Christmas lights in the greenhouse.
I thought about how proud I am to be a member of this wonderful Rotary club; a club that has and will continue to support Peace Ranch.
