Title: Residents’ group will hold Meet the Candidates Night

The next meeting of the SouthFields Village Residents Group will be this coming Tuesday (Sept. 16), and with an adjusted format.
The session will start at 7 p.m. at SouthFields Village Public School, and will be a Meet the Candidates for Municipal Election Night.
This is a great opportunity for all interested residents to meet Ward 2 Regional and Area councillor candidates, as well as those running for mayor.
From 7 until 8 p.m., there will be a relaxed setting with coffee and snacks, providing the opportunity to meet candidates in a more personal environment.
From about 8 to 9:15 p.m, there will be a more formal session, in which candidates can introduce themselves and provide a quick statement about themselves and their positions. That will be followed by a Q-and-A period.
