The tournament will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Bolton. This fundraising event will help support programs and services for older adults in the community. The day will include a barbecue lunch on the patio, an 18-hole scramble, and multiple chances to win various prizes. All golfers will have the opportunity to win the hole-in-one grand prize of an all-inclusive golf vacation for two to the Casa de Campo Resort in the Dominican Republic, valued at $5,000.  If that's not your cup of “tee”, there are also prizes for closest to the pin, a putting contest, and landing on the green.  All golfers will receive a free welcome bag.  The Caledon Seniors Centre (CSC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting active living and healthy lifestyles for adults aged 55 and over. CSC offers a wide range of programs at Rotary Place and six satellite locations across the Town of Caledon, with most activities run by volunteers. The goal at CSC is to provide a vibrant community where seniors can stay connected, engaged, and empowered.  “The Caledon Seniors Centre Golf Tournament is a significant fundraising event for the centre. It is more than just a day on the green, it's a powerful way to support the well-being of seniors in our community,” says RaDeana Montgomery, Fundraising Coordinator.  The CSC fundraising goal for 2025 is $100,000.  Montgomery shared that this will ensure that they can continue to offer existing and future programs for a healthy lifestyle. The CSC golf tournament is a key fundraising initiative that allows them to sustain and grow their many programs and initiatives. Proceeds directly support activities that promote social interaction, physical fitness, and lifelong learning for seniors in Bolton, Caledon East, Caledon Village, Southfields, Valleywood and Inglewood. “The impact of the Caledon Seniors Centre extends far beyond physical wellness helping ease social isolation by creating a welcoming space where friendships flourish and no one feels alone,” says Beverley Nurden, Centre Manager. Individual golfers can register for $150 or join as a foursome for $575.
