Junaid Ahmad, one of the managing directors of the franchise, said they have been operating since September, adding they are expecting things to pick up once the spring weather arrives for real. Business has been steady so far, but he said they are looking forward to being able to open the patio at the eatery Regional Road 50 on Bolton's south hill. The main specialty is chicken, which Ahmad said can be spicy or mild, and “100 per cent fresh.” As well, patrons have nine sides they can select from. Popeyes has take out and delivery, or people can dine in. Dufferin-Caledon MP David Tilson took time Friday to congratulate the owners on how things have been going so far.
