Police investigate crashA 51-year-old resident of Korea has been charged with careless driving after an accident on Highway 9 Sept. 27. Caledon OPP reports they were called to the scene, between Centreville Creek and The Gore Roads, shortly after 10:30 a.m. This section of the highway was closed for a little more than an hour while Caledon Fire and Emergency Services along with police tended to the scene. The collision involved three vehicles. Police said a black 2016 Toyota Prius was travelling westbound when it entered the eastbound lane for an unknown reason, striking a grey 2006 Acura TL followed by a red Chevrolet Malibu. Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries. |
