Police catch speeder on Highway 10

A 21-year-old man from Wisconsin was charged Saturday evening after a Caledon OPP officer spotted a car going excessively fast on Highway 10.
Police report the officer was conducting enforcement near Beechgrove Sideroad when he saw a black 2016 Toyota Corolla. He determined the car was going 148 km-h in a posted 80 zone.
The driver was charged with racing a motor vehicle. His licence was suspended for seven days and his car was impounded for seven days.
