Two Bolton residents charged with murderOne person is dead and two others are in custody after an altercation in the area of Queen Street South and Martha Street in Bolton early Saturday morning. Caledon OPP reports they responded to a reported stabbing shortly after 2:33 a.m. at the Petro-Canada station. Officers arrived on scene to find a male suffering obvious trauma. He was taken to hospital where he later died of injuries. He has been identified as Alexander Lemon, 36, of Toronto. Connor G. Sharpe, 21, and Venezia Pia Caterina Maggiore, 22, both of Bolton, have been charged with second degree murder. Maggiore has also been charged with being an accessory after the fact. Police are asking the residents of Bolton to assist the investigation by locating a knife involved in this homicide. It is believed a knife was discarded somewhere in Bolton between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Saturday. Residents are asked to search their properties and pay attention while in common areas of the village for any knife. Should anyone come across any such item, they are asked not to touch it and contact police immediately The continuing investigation is being conducted by members of the Major Crime Unit, OPP Central Region Support Team, OPP Central Region Forensic Identification Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Martin Graham of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
