Plenty of fun at Bolton Fair, despite Saturday’s rain

The weekend saw the 155th edition of the Bolton Fall Fair, put on by the Albion and Bolton Agricultural Society. Although the weather could have been better (especially Saturday), the weekend still attracted a good crowd of people out for fun and learning. Kori deBoer won the award for showmanship among Bolton club members Saturday at Bolton 4-H Dairy Calf Club Achievement Day.

The Fairgrounds were a busy place Friday night, as the rain held off long enough to get a good crowd in the stands for the annual demolition derby. There was lots of speed and smashing of cars to keep the audience entertained. Photos by Bill Rea
