Title: Peel’s yard waste collection ends

Peel Region's yard waste collection is ending in the coming weeks.
Bi-weekly yard waste collection in urban Caledon ends during the weeks of Dec. 5 and 12, on residents' regularly scheduled recycling day. The last rural Caledon collection is Dec. 9.
Residents are encouraged to visit peelregion.ca/waste to check the “when does it go” collection calendar for their last yard waste collection day.
Residents should place all bundles of brush, kraft paper bags or containers of yard waste at the curb on their collection day. They are asked to follow these instructions:
• Small bundles of yard waste and brush must not exceed 1.2 metres (four feet) and 76 centimetres (30 inches) in diameter and weigh no more than 20 kilograms (44 pounds).
• Individual branches and tree limbs must not exceed 1.2 metres (four feet) and 7.5 centimetres (three inches) in diameter and weigh no more than 20 kilograms (44 pounds).
Yard waste should be placed in labelled, open, rigid and reusable containers, bushel baskets, or paper yard waste bags. It will not be collected if it is set out in plastic bags, recycling boxes, or cardboard boxes, or is in a container that weighs more than 20 kilograms (44 pounds).
